3/27/2020 COVID-19 Veterinary Care Protocols and Hours

During the COVID-19 epidemic, we have been adjusting our hours in order to help with the prevention of the spread of this terrifying virus. As of now, we are open Monday through Friday 9am-5pm and are closed on weekends until this crisis is over. Things might change on short notice, but we will keep you informed here and in our blog at PeninsulaAveVet.com. We have strict protocols where most of the visit is over the phone and only the patient is allowed in the hospital. We bring in canine patients with our own sanitized 6 foot leash or transfer carriers and medications by always keeping a 6 foot distance plus protective gear on ourselves. We ask that clients let us know if they have COVID-19 or anyone in their household has been exposed to someone who has, or could have symptoms of COVID-19. We are working on keeping our patients healthy while avoiding any spread of COVID-19. Our online pharmacy (http://www.peninsulaavevet.com/pharmacy.html) is the fastest way to get home delivered medications and prescription foods. We have also started offering teleconference appointments for cases where that is possible without an examination of the patient.
