PENINSULA AVENUE VETERINARY CLINIC  has  been serving the San Francisco Peninsula (Burlingame/ San Mateo) since 1985. We are located on Peninsula Avenue in San Mateo, right on the border with Burlingame. We are a small independent, non-corporate hospital.

We will listen and address your concerns and treat your companion as if it were a member of our own family.

-Full Service Hospital-  We have a full service hospital that performs routine exams, vaccines, microchips, health certificates for travel, perform radiographs, ultrasounds, endoscopies as well as soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.  We have a fully equipped surgical suite as well as in hospital blood analyzers for emergency cases. We have recently added FidoCure oral targeted home therapies for our cancer patients.

-Pet Portal and App-   Allows online booking of appointments any time, checking vaccination records, sending  messages for refills or chat feature with our staff.

 -Online Pharmacy- We have a fully stocked pharmacy and also an online one for convenience and extra supplies. You can select  auto ship for extra convenience

-Client Registration Form here. Please fill out the registration and we can then collect the $97 refundable deposit for the first exam to be scheduled. It is fully refundable if cancel with 24 hours or more time prior to the scheduled appointment.

We are locally owned and part of the community. You will be able to see the same vet, join our pet portal, reach us easily by email or text and book appointments yourself online.  We are transparent with our pricing up front, so no luring with membership or low exam fees and then face pressure to accept higher priced additional services.  As long standing members of Veterinary Information Network, we have access to world renowned specialists. Always great at finding me an appointment for my cats.  I appreciate that they explain everything and don't push treatments on their clients. They go above and beyond and are mindful of weighing the animals needs with the costs associated.
